IEP Progress
Built for special education

Get your time back,
not only your Sundays.

IEP Progress reads your uploaded IEP and pulls out every goal — then you mark the evidence the moment it happens, in class or during prep. No more staying late to reconstruct progress or hunt for proof, and no more losing Sunday to reports. When they're due, the data's already there and the narrative drafts itself — and when the annual review comes around, it drafts the Present Levels and next year's goals from that same data for you to review and finalize. Available now, with a free trial.

The hours you work after contract time? Take some back.

Every special-ed teacher works past the bell — and progress monitoring is a big chunk of it. Because you capture the evidence the moment it happens, in class or on your prep, you're never staying late to reconstruct a student's progress or dig for proof of it. That time goes back to teaching, planning, grading… or going home.

How progress monitoring works now — and how it could work

This is how we do it at my school, and most schools aren't far off.

The way it's done now

  • ✗  You get the "IEP at a glance" and have to figure out what to document
  • ✗  You log every event by hand, on paper
  • ✗  Evidence piles up in a folder — you hunt for it at report time
  • ✗  You hand your notes to the case manager, who re-enters it all into EdPlan
  • ✗  No one can see how a student's really doing until the quarter ends

With IEP Progress

  • ✓  Upload the IEP — every goal, objective, and baseline is pulled out for you
  • ✓  Tap to log the moment it happens; snap a photo of the work
  • ✓  Everything's in one spot — nothing to hunt for
  • ✓  No re-entry — the report compiles itself and drafts the narrative
  • ✓  Check current progress anytime, not just at report time
  • ✓  Never miss a deadline — one dashboard flags reviews, re-evals, and reports before they're late
  • ✓  At the annual review, the next IEP drafts itself — Present Levels and proposed goals from your data, for you to finalize

It works for both sides of the inclusion classroom. A special-ed case manager tracking 15 students, or a high-school gen-ed teacher with 150 students and 10 on IEPs — either way, documenting IEP progress stops being the thing that eats your evenings. The gen-ed teacher carries the responsibility of showing every student is growing; IEP Progress makes the special-ed part of that effortless instead of a second job.

Academic & behavioral goals

IEP Progress™

Upload the IEP. It reads it and pulls out every goal, objective, baseline, and date — so you never hand-type a goal again.

  • Upload any IEP and the goals fill themselves in
  • Mark trials in a tap; attach a photo of the student's work
  • Knows the mastery rule — "80% in 3 of 4 trials" — and tells you when it's met
  • Drafts the progress narrative from your actual data
  • Drafts your next IEP — Present Levels and proposed annual goals, built from the year's progress for you to review and finalize
  • Assembles a care plan — a whole-student profile (present levels, goals, strengths, coping skills, behavior) you edit and finalize
  • Folds in behavior data — paste an ABC behavior summary and it informs the present levels and a measurable behavior goal
  • Generates AI skill-development activities — ready-to-use assignments to help a student reach an objective they haven't met yet
  • Behavioral goals with one-tap daily check-ins
  • Accommodations on your phone in two seconds
  • Compliance dashboard — reviews, triennial re-evals, and reports due, flagged before they're late
  • Compiles the whole caseload into one report
Behavior data collection

ABC Tracker™

Log what happened before, during, and after — in seconds, on your phone, while it's still fresh.

  • Antecedent → Behavior → Consequence in a few taps
  • One-tap presets for the incidents you see every day
  • Tracks the proactive strategy you tried, and whether it worked
  • Finds the pattern across incidents you'd never spot by eye
  • Drafts a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) from the data — a full plan and a 1-page quick reference, for you to edit and finalize
  • Shared across the whole team — everyone sees the same picture
  • Reports you can hand to a parent or bring to an IEP meeting

What teachers and directors ask about first

Staying on top of deadlines, putting your behavior data to work, and the whole-student care plan.

Included with IEP Progress

The compliance dashboard

Deadlines stop sneaking up on you. One screen shows what's coming due and what's still owed — before anything is late.

  • Annual reviews & triennial re-evaluations, flagged as they approach
  • Progress reports still owed this period, per student
  • Goals with no data logged yet — caught while there's still time
  • Every teacher sees their own caseload. A SPED director sees the whole workspace, grouped by case manager
Works with ABC Tracker

Your behavior data, folded into the IEP

The incidents you're already logging in ABC Tracker don't sit in a separate silo — they inform the IEP itself.

  • Paste an ABC behavior summary straight into the IEP draft
  • It shapes the Present Levels and writes a measurable behavior goal from the real incident data
  • Choose how far it reaches — integrated across the whole draft, or kept to the behavior section
  • Other students' initials are stripped automatically — one child's IEP never names another
Included with IEP Progress

The care plan, assembled for you

A whole-student profile the whole team can follow — drafted from what the app already knows, then yours to edit.

  • Background, present levels, goals, strengths, coping skills, and the behavior picture — in one document
  • Pulls the student's goals & accommodations for you; an "IEP at a glance" is enough — the full IEP isn't required
  • Paste an ABC summary to fill the behavior sections; add scores & background in one box
  • Edit every section, then export a clean PDF

Schools & districts

Priced per teacher, never per student. A caseload of 30 costs the same as a caseload of 12.

Either appIEP Progress or ABC Tracker
$59/teacher/yr
Both appsthe full picture — academic + behavioral
$99/teacher/yr

Unlimited students, goals and data on every plan. 5-teacher minimum.
Billed annually, in advance — access begins once the invoice or purchase order is paid. Renews each year.
District plans are opening soon — join the waitlist or contact us and we'll set your team up.

Why not per student? Tools that charge per student punish you for serving more kids — a 20-student caseload shouldn't cost more than a 12-student one. We will never do that.

Questions teachers actually ask

Is my students' data safe?

Your data is walled off at the database level — no other user can see your students, ever. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, files are private, and you can delete a student (or your whole account) yourself, any time. Read the Privacy Policy.

Can I use it with real student information?

Only if your school or district authorizes it — that's what FERPA requires of any outside tool. If you're not sure, use initials. The app is built to work that way by default, and we'll help your district put an agreement in place.

Does it work with my district's IEP system?

Yes. You upload the IEP as a PDF — from EdPlan, SEIS, Frontline, Enrich, or a scan — and the goals are read straight off the document. Progress codes are configurable to match your state's.

Is there really no limit on students?

Right. Unlimited students, goals, and data points on every plan. AI features have a generous fair-use limit sized for a caseload of about 30 — if you're bigger than that, talk to us and we'll sort it out.

How does the free trial and billing work?

IEP Progress starts with a 15-day free trial — no credit card required to begin. If you decide to keep it, you subscribe for $79/year, billed once a year. You can cancel anytime; email support@easonsoftware.com and your subscription won't renew. Your students and data stay saved either way.

Who's behind this?

A special-education teacher who got tired of losing weekends to progress reports and built the tool she wanted. Every feature here came from a teacher asking for it.
